On the road to Ciudad del Carmen!

The day was beautiful, the water of the Mexican Golf is perfectly limpid there, in part due to the sand's color, white. We drove near the ocean a long time, we past in Ciudad del Carmen which was a big coastal city where we just take a quick look, the water partially all around the city make it attractive.

Just before passing the bridge to go out of the city, some policemans asked us to stop on the side of the road. Telling jokes, they were really funny, took a look in the van, we've talk with them a little bit before returning on the road.

On the coast, lot of big houses, people with lot of money. We saw today again some signs of old cyclones. We passed some bridges directly on the sea, unable to see nothing more than water on our left but also on our right.

Not really further, a wreck on the beach make us stopped on the side of the road. We let the van there and went to visit this wreck, all the wreck except the engine's room! An interesting visit, it can be another signs of a passed cyclone which bring this old boat until the beach?

So continuing through the Tabasco's state, another revision point, militarily this time. The soldiers was really funny, they asked us where was the girls we were bringing back with ourself, we've talk with them a certain time during the short revision of our car and took back the road.

Villahermosa remember us Merida a little bit. At the end of the city, a big field fire was in activity. The spring is arrived here, the threes are all green and full of little leaves ready to grow up. Here is the opposite of the Bahias de Huatulco, because there everything is so dry and here the fields are full of water, everywhere you can find water and almost all houses get a little lake or something.

Just before the sun leaved us, another revision point where lot of policemans and other cars were waiting. This time, they take a look, a really long look in the van. Looking on every bags and under every seats, everywhere! Something strange, those policemans were not policemans, they were wearing normal clothes and were asking us all the time were was the cannabis and the cocaine we were getting, telling us all the time that we were able to tell them without any problem.

Another thing, the federal police were also there at this big revision point, but were apparently not looking the same cars or just not working on the same thing. After a good 10 minutes, we were able to leave this point and packing our bags again on the van, heading up to our next parking for the night.

We just want to say that lot of people tell that the Mexico is a country where lot of corruption is present. If they are right, certain revision point are not credible and we were a little bit afraid about the fact they can put themself some drug in our van or in our bags, to be catched up at the next revision point. So if this will happen, it is important to tell you that we never buy drugs and never take also, so it will be evident that it's something just to destroy our lifes. We're not affraid, we just think you must know the fact we're not taking any drugs, and less of all in another country!

So we'll sleep in a Pemex parking again!
