What a night! We slept in a 'parking', in fact directly on the beach during a sandstorm. The sand here is like flour, extremely little and it goes in the air like dust. So it was funny, lot of wind and lot of sand.

We went back to saw our friends, took the time to talk with them before taking back the way up to Cancun, without really wanting to go there in this huge touristic city 100% americanised. Wich sadly to see Playa del Carmen, just before Cancun, 80% of americans from the United States, lot of Burger Kings and everything you can imagine!

It's a deplorable thing, to think that Mexican let the american invade their country and making money on their back, maybe without knowing it. So what an horrible city, we continue our way looking for taking another road to avoid Cancun downtown... But we were in a neighborhood where the streets are in part destroyed and full of holes and the street we wanted to take was not indicated. After a long time on a road going up to nowhere, a car just stop near the van and the guy asked us: Où allez vous? (Where are you going?)

He probably saw our licence plate from the Quebec and was talking some french words, so he told us a way to go on the road we were looking for before leaving. We continue to look for this road about 15 minutes but nothing, so we decided to take back the way of Cancun.

Tonight, we'll sleep where we are going to sleep!
