About our project 22/11/06 - Day 17 - Santa Barbara - 4865 miles
Waking up at 8h30 by a little birds on the top of the van, the sun was already there warming up the westfalia for the day. We had a coffee then a quick breakfeast before leaving for Santa Barbara. Heading to Santa Barbara, we took a quick stop along the road where we saw a tons of elephant seals.
A few miles after we passed in front Heart Castle we saw some zebra..... what the $%##, zebra here in california we could'nt believe it.
Heart Castle was the domain of William Randolph Hearst at San Simeon in San Luis Obispo county between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Build between 1919 and 1947 by the architect Julia Morgan.
So tonight we'll sleep here in Santa Barbara and tonight we'll head to Los Angeless to go see one of our friend there in L.A.
